MN Permit to Carry Class

SIGN UP for the Friday, June 20th Class.

Welcome to Elite Guardian’s MN Permit to Carry Class. You will learn about the fundamentals of shooting a pistol whether you are a beginner or a novice. We also cover the self defense laws in Minnesota. You’ll get to shoot your pistol on a live fire range at the end of the course with an experienced instructor. Upon completion of the course, you earn a certificate that allows you to apply for a MN permit to carry.

Friday, June 20th, 2025:

The classroom portion is from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm at Elite Guardian’s office at 1920 Oakcrest Ave, Ste 5, Roseville, MN 55113.

The live fire range is at Bald Eagles Sportsmen’s Club from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at 6557 125th St N, Hugo, MN 55038

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

Additional Notes from Your Instructor

Please bring a pistol or revolver that you are comfortable shooting and 50 rounds of the correct ammunition for that firearm. If you do not have a firearm, please let me know and I’ll allow you to rent one for the shooting portion of the class. Also, we encourage you to have your own ear and eye protection, but if you don’t, we will have it available.
